Hi, I’m Gaia Elara Soleil.
I share my life with my two Australian Labradoodles—
Meekonose (Mykonos) and Capri Du-Paw (Capri, Dubai)—
and my gorgeous husband Warren who is also my associate photographer at Hause Of Soleil. My life is a vibrant Mardi Gras of luxurious adventures and endless sunsets.
When I’m not being a professional third-wheel, you’ll find me in some corner of the world, camera in hand, chasing moonrises, romancing the world!

From the golden shores of Santorini to candlelit châteaus in the French countryside, I’ve had the privilege of documenting love stories in the most breathtaking corners of the world. But no matter the destination, my purpose remains the same: to create imagery that feels alive, genuine, and eternal.

How did you get into photography?
My passion for photography was instilled in me as a child- I come from a family where photos and photo albums were a big BIG deal. The adults were big on film photography and freezing every possible moment. We'd have 1000s of albums in our "album-cupboard" in our family home back in India. No moment/memory went missed. We'd capture IT ALL. As the oldest kid of the bunch, naturally it stuck with me the most.
As a teen- I was always that person who'd take all the photos and videos in the friend and family settings. Fun fact- My dad was briefly a wedding photographer back in his days.
It has since then blossomed into a 16-year journey through the luxury travel industry after I moved to the UK. You will now find my work on websites of some of the most exquisite hotels and airlines of the world.
Since 2022, I’ve been blending my love for love & travel as a Destination Wedding Photographer, chasing fairytale frames.

How do you edit?
When it comes to weddings, I believe the art of post-production is just as important—if not more so—than the photography itself. As a seasoned photo editor, I specialise in refining and elevating every image to its full potential. Whether it's bright and airy fine art aesthetics, or true-to-tone photos, each gallery you see in my portfolio is the result of a carefully curated colour scheme. I design this collaboratively with my couples or craft it entirely on my own when given creative freedom.
I love black and white photos, so I get super giddy when my couples tell me they want more B&W images. But don’t get me wrong—I love creating beautifully colour-graded images that make your heart smile, along with B&W ones that make your heart feel.

Define your photography style. Fine-art/documentary/editorial?
To define is to limit. I wouldn't put my style into a box – I’m a creative artist, I will tell the story of your wedding day with heart & dreamy-timeless framing.
I adore photographing emotions and have a knack for capturing organic moments that end up looking like a million dollars. I customise my approach for every couple. Through multiple detailed consultation calls and meetings, I collaborate closely with each couple to plan the perfect photography plan, understanding that preferences vary.
